Tighten the two transmission bellhousing bolts to 37 ft. lbs for a manual transmission and 70 ft. lbs for an automatic
transmission.

70ft lbs from the trans through to the oil pan seems way excessive? Anyone know if that is correct?

Oil Pan Removal
Seems like there's enough clearance to get the pan out without doing much on these cars. Needs a new pan gasket. Anything I'm missing that would require the engine to be raised up or the steering rack to be moved?

Heh, so many parts to interchange. The specific post had a picture of the tube installed but never gave a part number or anything. I thought they said it came off of an LS2? Maybe? I think it was less than a hundred bucks because they were posting it as an alternative to all the guys buying the $300...
