Re: Dash Display

Okay, so your controller is unplugged/dead. You couldn't press the 'snowflake' button and hear the compressor turn off? If not, then the controller is inop for some reason.

Re: Dash Display

DQ'ed for the HVAC/Radio screen not lighting up? That's silly!

Re: B Pillar trim and Progard mounting plates...

Interesting. Our car had similar holes in the B-pilar trim, but nothing behind them. Guessing they popped the trim off, pulled those brackets and put the trim back on. I've already replaced the trim with something less 'holy', although I did then install an in-car holster on the left pilar. Better t...

Re: New guy in AZ

Thanks. Monday is actually my 2 year-old's first day at pre-pre-pre-school (summer school?) so the first mod to the car has turned out to be the car seat installation. Forecast is dusty tomorrow. Really dusty. So if there happens to be adult tears shed at drop-off its definitely the dust, ok? I als...

Funny! I should nose-to-nose our two DDs. The picture would be pretty much like that one.

Re: can I just swap out the radio?

Interesting that it looks like they covered the door latch with a cover screwed to the inner door panel. Weird, since I think these cars rolled off the assembly line with the door latch and lock mechanism disconnected.

Re: Big Single TURBO build ...LOADING

A spinning turbo will muffle a lot of noise. Had a friend who had a Mustang SVO he ran in Super Stock class back in the '80's. Don't remember what class specifically, but the engine was mostly stock, except for a big cam, big turbo and exhaust that essentially dumped right out of the downpipe. Rolli...

Re: Greetings from Southern California

Welcome! Parked at a donut shop! Funny!

Is that original paint? I didn't know Holden offered other than solid color paint schemes.

Our Caprice was all PBM, but our 92 Camaro B4C was black-and-white from the factory. I hope to restore it to it's original colors when we do the restore on it.

Re: Thanks for the add from NC

I thinkthe Child Safety lock on the back of the rear door door jambs also turn off the window controls in the rear seats. I could be confusing the Caprice with our Tahoe, but it's something else to check.

Oh, and welcome!

Re: Camaro Seats...?

The Caprice DOES have seat airbags. The issues, I believe are that no one's verified if they'll bolt in to either the floor pan, or the seat rack, and I think for some seat swaps, the pinout is different for the power/control/SIR harnesses, which also hasn't been verified for Camaro seats. Note also...
