Re: Anyone using a Blutooth ODBii scanner to Smartphone??

I was going to ask how you integrated the HVAC controls into an aftermarket radio, but read on another post that you ordered an Aussie unit, that's pretty cool. My 2012 has the blue tooth enabled, but the IQ unit can't run apps. I think I'm going to order $13 scanner, then find a good app to run on ...

Anyone using a Blutooth ODBii scanner to Smartphone??

I wondering if anyone on here has used one of those wireless odb readers that connects to a smartphone running an app? Is there one that can send real time data to a smartphone in a gauge format ? I have an extra android phone I use for media and navigation, would be cool to use for engine monitorin...

Re: check engine light high voltage from oil pressure switch?

I'm getting P0523 and P0522 codes. I'm going to do an oil change too, as the life is around 15% left, probably should have done it first.

Re: check engine light high voltage from oil pressure switch?

Thanks for the reply. Mine is on the intake side, right up against it. I can't get any leverage to push the tab. I'm going to remove the windshield cowl, for more hand and arm room, and change the cabin filter while I'm at it. I think a 90' pick, if its rigid enough, might push the tab in. I might e...

2010-13 Interior Same as Holden Calais???

I'm looking to order a Pro Clip mount, but the one I want is not listed for the PPV specifically.
Is the Calais interior the same as the PPV, it looks like it is ?

Here is what I'm talking about: https://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=654578

Cleaning engine \ engine bay ?????

Whats a good way to clean the engine, engine bay, under hood, etc,,? Any tips?
One of the things that impressed me when I purchased my car, was how clean the dealership had got engine area.
Now, its full of dust mainly, some grease, and a few leaves and bird feathers.

Re: Bulb Information for the Newbie...

I just wanted to confirm, what I gathered from this thread is that LED replacement H7 or H9 bulbs, low and high beams, will fit with the dust covers in place? Also, that making small holes for ventilation, will not cause dust to get in the reflector area?

Re: PPV Meme

I just saw this old post, funny. I never really cared to notice what model the police were driving until I got the Caprice, now I always look. I'm disappointed when it turns out to be an Impala or a Taurus.
