Modified 2006 GMC Yukon I would like to trade for V8 PPV

I have a white 2006 GMC Yukon 2wd that I bought about 3 years ago because I love this vintage truck so much. Since I bought it I have lowered it with Belltech spindles, deleted the Torsion Bar front suspension and shocks in favor of Viking double adjustable coilovers, and replaced the bushings with ...

Looking for a V8 PPV in good condition preferably with no holes

I am looking for a Caprice PPV V8 in good condition that I can update the suspension, brakes, rear diff, wheels, engine, interior, and make a really nice comfortable family cruiser out of. My Trailblazer SS is silver, my regular cab Silverado is black so I'm really more interested in white or blue. ...

Re: Bench racing L77 stop end swap

Because we built a motor for a Trailblazer SS that was GMPP heads on a LS2 with a 231/236 cam and it wasn't nearly as strong as when the LS2 came out and it was replaced with a LSX376 B8 with less compression the truck ran better. Everything was the same as before except the piston size and the valv...

Bench racing L77 stop end swap

I've never been a big fan of rectangular port heads on 4" bore shortblock. The car I won or Ebay has a faulty lifter and will need disassembled to fix and new parts and upgrades will go back in. I was thinking on which would be faster CNC 243 heads milled for 12.1 CR, BTR Stage 3 pr 4 LS1/LS2 cam, p...

Re: Question about rear brakes to run 15a

Before I buy a vehicle or consider a vehicle I like to learn as much about them as possible. I researched Trailblazer for probably 3 months before I bought one. I have a friend going to look at one for me first part of next week. If it checks out I will pick it up, and since it's LS it won't stay st...

Re: Cts-v converter compatibility

What does that converter stall in a NA setup? What does it gain or are people tossing them in with a LSA?

Question about rear brakes to run 15a

I don't have a PPV yet because promised my kids we'd build a vehicle a piece for each of them. I've built on a 416ci LS2 Trailblazer SS I'm almost done with and s RCSB Chevy with a likely a F1A-94 and 388ci. So far I want a 14+ so the SS interior can go in an be really nice. I've I run CTS V or SS f...
