Catch can or PCV opinion
Hey y'all , not sure if it's really necessary that we Subject our motors to anymore hot air gasses. Do we really need a vacuum in the crankcase or just vent thru a catch can into the atmosphere? I know serious motor builders will put a vacuum pump to gain a couple more horse power but does a vacuum ...

Re: Exhaust Cutouts?
I think I've installed Cut-outs and damn near every vehicle I've owned. I went with the Oval Cut-outs from Granatelli lately, due to their great customer service. Depending how big of a cam you got, but you will get some leakage. But if you exercise them regularly and keep the shafts lubed they'll l...

Driveline flex joint limits
Planning out my next upgrade which includes a Procharger, my current RWHP is a little north of 400hp after boosting might be around 550-600. Are these flex joints capable of handling this much torque? I'm Old school and always relied on bigger U-joints for the 60/70s GM muscle cars for added insuran...

Re: 3.45 Differential install
Just a final note, I used the red Urathane bushings when I installed the 3:45s out of a 15 SS Camaro. It was one of the first upgrades and didn't notice any more road noise over the oem bushings, but then again I did exhaust as well. Best $600 upgrade to the 3:45s on my 13 ppv.

Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
I don't mind turning Rotors within their specs or replacing them since the cost isn't to bad with all the overseas competition. I'm sure there's "High end" Chinese Rotors and many are just OK if your not looking for any kind of performance out of them. I love Ceramic, but for clutches not ...

Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
You mention Brembo fronts, Calipers only? With the GM style rotors? And do you use Brembo Pads or you mentioned a GM part number as well on fronts. Do you notice much difference between the GM and Brembo pads, and what's the advantage over the stock calipers if I was to use a softer pad that stops w...

Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
Thanks for your advise Moosman:) And I know how important it is to "Bed" the brakes in after a good brake job so you can avoid the pulsating peddle feel from occurring. I've actually experimted this theory on a 15 Ford Edge that went thru front pads and rotors every year no matter if they ...

Best Current Brand for Rotors
Well I'm back in the market for ordering a set of new rotors from Rock Auto or MaxBrakes out of Canada.
I'm not a fan of Drilled Rotors even Bendix or the better Centrix, they All seem to get micro cracks between the Drilled holes. What are the Masses using and been happy with?
Thanks All

Re: Water dripping from under drivers side floorboard
Wow, Thank you for that photo. And I was just under that area to install a vent cap (GM Genuine Parts 25892279 Multi-Purpose Vent https://a.co/d/74M4UrI)on the Trans vent hose that runs up the front of the bell housing that I thought it would of had a cover to keep debris or water from going in the ...

Re: Water dripping from under drivers side floorboard
I think I'll run it a bit longer with the A/C on and the cars up on blocks. I thought the evap condensation came out a designated hose under the front passenger side of the car ? I'll try pinpointing where it's actually coming from. If it's just oozing from between the heat shield material and the f...
