I took my car to the stealership last week to address this issue. They informed me that GM has offered no fix for the problem as of yet.

Thank you...The carpet did rip along the line in the carpet. It was pretty much already cut from the factory at that line with small tabs at the ends holding it together. The rubber did not have the perforations, I tried to cut it in the same places as the perforations in the carpet for removal, wor...

Is that a drop in replacement? Yes...the material is nearly a spot on match, and it's wonderful having an armrest for the rear seat. To do it properly, you need to get a latch mechanism for the trunk access, but it has a place to bolt up. Is there any way to get a picture of the latch your talking ...
