Lowering ET - toon, gear, & grip

Hey guys, ive been wondering what will lower my 1/8 ET more; a dyno tune OR 3.25 gears? Ive been trying to go by the On All Cylinders L77 build guide and it says the next step is getting a 5th gen camaro gear. Ive seen the post on Facebook and people have doubts about the 3.25s lol Ive tried to use ...

Re: MY JBA exhaust setup, questions left, lessons

I never said it wasnt a restriction lol i just said i had it left in there b.c im still using DoD. I later learned after that theres no separation of exhaust in the resonator, and is H pipe like. However, being able to hear the exhaust in the resonator was unexpected, and ill prolli have it removed ...

MY JBA exhaust setup, questions left, lessons

Thought process: HP>quiet/loud>cost I bought JBA SS headers and catted conn pipes. Told the shop i wanted an H pipe and later cutouts. Solo said a full setup: kooks headers, solo catted conn pipes, balanced (or shorty) was 2205. JBA headers, catted conn pipes were 1185. Weld in 2.25 cutouts were on ...

Re: Orrsom OTR CAI

It would appear that the CAI did cut .12 off my ET. I even lowered my 60ft so it didnt lose any power below 3k. On the way back the first time at 65, the car started running rough. There was some wierd "miss match" like that 1 episode of Engine masters. It was from the 4 cylinder mode. It did on the...

Re: 1/8 Mile E/t's

Soo i put the otr cai back on, had a nice 72 start of the day. Just over half a tank. Cooled the car down for 40 minutes. There was a 10mph cross/head wind tho and HI humidity Time trial: 2.09 60ft, 5.85 330ft, 8.93 @ 80.8 Rd 1: 2.09 60ft, 5.86 330ft, 8.94 @ 80.8 Cooled off and the wind calmed Rd 2:...

Re: 1/8 Mile E/t's

Ok, so just got back from the track. Took the CAI off. Was finally able to run with my new wheels. 265/40 on a 18x9.5 and 235/45 on a 18.8.5. They were 30lbs lighter than the steelies/tyres. 74*, 9/16 tank of gas. Low humity, same time of day as my 9.05 day. Pretty accurate comparison; 2.20 60ft, 6....

Re: 1/8 Mile E/t's

Unfortunately, i didnt get my rims in time to have as accurate of a test as i wanted to. So i put my orsson OTR CAI on. I thought if i had the better 235/50 tires on the back now it'd still give some good data as how much the new intake was. It didnt go well Was 70*, so its same as the 9.05 runs. 5/...

Re: Orrsom OTR CAI

Weather calls for 100% rain tomorrow. Im going to tape up the grill opening nascar style till i can make something to prevent it from puddling. Performance update! First, the induction sound aint a joke lmfao I posted in General Discussion about my track times. I ran my fastest times yet at the trac...
