Re: AU Front Bumper Availability

I thought I asked him or someone else before but I believe they are just modifying the USA reinforcement bar by trimming the edges so the covers fit well. No one has done any write up on the process yet though. They are aftermarket but reports have been pretty good. https://i.imgur.com/yGsHHCY.png?1

Re: Decontenting question

I was able to sell all my center console stuff so definitely a market for it. Also the front push bars seem to be popular. Worst thing to get rid of are the prisoner cages and that one does not have one so sweet! Most of the wiring will come out with 1 to 3 plug by the glove box then you might just ...

Re: Brake Switch Signal for Trailer Brake controller

Locating the wire? or the BCM?

On the 14+ it is in the passenger side outer footwell side panel. Actually easier to access than the 11-13's

Re: Trailer wiring

This seems to be for the 11-13 only, not finding a reference to this plug in the 14+ models. Connector pictured above is X456 located above the battery - #5 in this pic: https://i.imgur.com/2n7yiqA.png?1 Not able to find any information on what the wires inside it are. That would be useful if anyone...

Re: Brake Switch Signal for Trailer Brake controller

Could tap into the third brake light circuit. Not sure if the added load would set of any bulb out warnings and such. If so maybe have it trip a relay to send 12 volts from a separate 12 volt circuit. Would have to catch it right at the BCM because it goes straight into the headliner and to the rear...

Re: Tail Light Connector Information

YOu know you are on to something here. On the 11-13's there is a wire in every one of the 6 cavities. We have learned from people doing the LED taillight conversion that the wire is there for the separate turn signal circuit but the factory PPV tail lights do not use it. Well looking at a 2014 PPV t...

Re: Rear running and plate lights not working

If you click your headlight switch one click over to "parking Lights" they are not coming on? There is a fuse for each side. THis is Believe the Underhood Fuse panel numbers: https://i.imgur.com/fZGhpYD.png?1 Are the lights at the top of your headlights and the side markers working on the front side...

Tail Light Connector Information

Did some research on the tail light connectors tonight and was so hard to find thought I should document because I will forget how I found it! Re: high side A/C charging port P/N?

Is it leaking inside the fitting or outside around it? You can just replace the schrader valve inside the port. That is usually the problem. GM would not have that part since it is so common and universal. Shops buy them by the 100's
