So if you come across any G8 part our that has the leather wheel grab it up if not for you for another member. Have an email into a parts guy in AU to see ...

Re: Water Leaking Through Doors - Leak into Carpet / Interior

Well the fact that no water is on the interior door sill just means your vapor barrier is sealed and doing it's job but all the water is getting into the door all the time. Now how it comes out the drain holes at the bottom if the dooris the issue. YOur rubber down there has gotten stiff enough that...

You that is funny. That Innova one look like the one AutoZone used..... It could not see the ABS errors....weird

THey have several versions that look the same, doubt they equip the autozone guys with the ABS version. Do not want them getting in to deep.

Do they have any good scanning OBD II aps for Apple? or they are all on Android?
Blue Driver APP is in the Apple store. Says it supports ABS for some vehicles. If it worked for Gene should be OK.

Re: BRAKE light stays on with ABS.

Just a FYI - I came across this TSB about the rear ABS speed sensors. IT says it is a fault in the tech2 so not sure other scanners will have a problem?

Re: BRAKE light stays on with ABS.

You will need to get or find a shop that has a scanner capable of reading the ABS system. Most independent shops have them or you can get your own for around $120. I have always used innova just because I like the monitor status on the main screen but there might be better deals out there: Innova On...

Re: How To: Adding an amplifier

Have not had any issues. THis particular amp has a feature when it gets overheated it will adjust down to compensate and cool off. I had it up pretty high for about 3 hours and was just warm to the touch in there. Gain is only up about 1/4 way so I do not think I am pushing things all that hard. Wil...

Re: Transmission Pan upgrade

So which one would I need? I have a 2012 with the V8. Either should work. THe Cadi guy mention a 1 inch snoot - but I think he is exaggerating on the length there. See yours when it comes in. THe only thing that scares me is the mention of a different pan that has the indentation to accept the snoo...
