May want to also check out the G8 Pages, a bit of a younger demographic for things like that and they got basically a similar trunk to work with. I remember one guy did it all inside the spare tire well. That was pretty cool.

If you want to pull the fuses they are in the underhood fuse box - Fuses F18 and FU9.

Does not matter what temp you have it set at it stays on max blower? Because if it is 80 degrees out and you have it set for 65 of course it is going to go max blower to try and cool things down. Can you turn down the fan with the button manually? But with the silver box out it has been reported tha...

So are you saying when you take your silver box out your fan goes to high and the compressor comes on? Or are you having a problem even before you take the silver box out?

You know looking closer I do not think you will have continuous power at the latch on terminal 3. I think that will be momentary when pressing the release. I think the circuit 1303 is not the release but the monitor circuit . Open position the latch gives it a ground and tells bcm the trunk is open ...

Sure enough the 14+ trunk fuse box has hidden relay's in there. Not sure if this is OP's problem but interesting none the less. Wonder why they did that? Non serviceable relay that's nuts.
