Re: Was there a stock alloy wheel?

Also, keep in mind that not all alloy wheels that "fit", might not allow for a larger brake and caliper, depending on what your goals are. Most of the AU sourced alloy wheels for the WM/WN VE/VF cars won't fit over a larger brake rotor and caliper.

Re: high side A/C charging port P/N?

FYI, The high side port socket is a MASTERCOOL 98234 Socket. Available from Jeff Bezos...

Re: high side A/C charging port P/N?

FYI, make sure that you verify the type of socket required to remove and install the high side/low side valves. On older GM vehicles they are 8 sided versus the standard 6 sided socket.

Tracy241,
When you get ready to swap out your LED tail lights, see this link. You will need to get your BCM re-programmed also...

Re: Trunk lid hook

I believe that is used to hold the carpeted, flat, spare tire cover up and out of the way when changing the tire. There is nylon loop attached to it.

Re: Z28 Headers on a PPV

CD, I am using the ZL1/SS cats and head pipes and an extended ZL1 system to the back. We did have to shorten the "height" of the head pipes to accommodate the longer "depth" of the Z28 headers.

Re: trans and diff fluid change

Here is an old thread:
I believe it is from Jannetty Racing viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1985. But, I really struggled getting the JR trans dipstick installed. Took some heat and modification...

Also, there was mention of the GB guys using a truck dipstick.

Re: Pacesetter coated headers deal on ebay

My 2011 9C3 had a flex joint just past the cast manifold... I have seen them both ways...
